I'm Sam, I am an intuitive abstract painter specializing in artworks that explores the natural world, combining rich colours, textural elements with uplifting imagery.

My work combines organic forms and swirling colour palettes to evoke calm and introspection. I love being able to paint and create intuitively, expressing emotions and ideas through textures and colours.

I am inspired by the world around me, the beauty of nature, the power of words and ideas, and translating these into pieces of art that encourage reflection and joy. My most recent works have included bringing a piece of nature home, using Irish seawater, gathered sand and Irish tea to impart a piece of this beautiful land into every painting.

This is my greatest aim, that my paintings bring peace, allow for stillness, and then leave you with a sense of hope.
